Yoga: Close to our hotels is the following place​

Dolphin watching:  Omar’s Sport Fishing is a very good suggestion, the cost is 500 pesos per person, the tour leaves at 6:50 am from the hotel. He is a very eco-friendly tour guide. (Best season from December to March but this is a migratory area so we always have dolphins around)

Birdwatching at Manialtepec/Chacahua Lagoon: Lalo Ecotours is a good suggestion for the tour (Best time for birdwatching is December to March), cost 750 pesos per person

 

​Bioluminescence Manialtepec/Chacahua Lagoon: This is a phenomenon that depends on many factors but sometimes we have it all the year around. The visibility strongly depends on the moon phase, please talk to us before booking. The suggested tour guide is Lalo Ecotours, the cost is 300 p/p and they pick you up around 8:00 pm from the hotel.

 

Releasing Baby turtles: There are 3 camps around town, the camp that operates almost the whole year is in Bacocho beach. The activity starts around 17:00 hrs. The other camps are located outside of town and operate from December to May. We can help you to book a taxi, which will charge 400 pesos for the return trip, and the activity starts around 5 or 6pm

 

Reforma Waterfall is a beautiful place located closer to the mountains. It can be reached by car in 1hour 30 minutes on a dirt road. You do a tour or rent a car or taxi. A taxi charges around 1500 pesos and the trip is from 9:00 to 16:00 hrs. However, during raining season it is not possible to go there.

 

Horseback riding to the hot springs: This is a half-day tour to the hot springs in the mountains, the suggested tour guide is Lalo Ecotours. In raining season it is not possible to do it. Speak to us for details, pricing, and availability.

 

Surfing: If you would like to take a lesson, Oasis Surf School (Blvd. Benito Juarez) or the surfers on Carrizalillo beach (ask for Luis Cruz) are good options.

 

Arrivals of turtles: Escobilla is one of the most important beaches in the world for massive arrivals of turtles to lay their eggs. This amazing phenomenon happens between July and October around the new moon phase. Further information is available on the Facebook webpage “Centro Ecoturistico Escobilla”. You can reach this place with Taxi or with a Tour guide.

 

Sport Fishing: Omar’s Sport Fishing is a really good option; the cost is around 4500 pesos for half of the day. Depending on the time of the year you will catch Tuna, Mahi-mahi, Sailfish, or Marlin.

 

Spanish Lessons: There are two schools nearby, Oasis Surf and Cafe Choc, both walking distance on the Blvd. Benito Juarez.
